Writing ‘Period’ together with my dear friend and producer Peter Kvint in Stockholm was a really special moment. We were chasing that feeling of momentum and emotional intensity, something that felt like a story building toward a turning point.

When the Japanese duo Chemistry recorded the song and it became the opening theme for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, it was incredible to see how deeply it connected with audiences. Fullmetal Alchemist is such an iconic series, especially in Japan, where it remains one of the most popular and beloved anime stories ever created.

The song also became the door that opened my music career in Japan. Even today when I visit and people hear that I wrote the theme song for Fullmetal Alchemist, the reaction is always amazing. Sometimes people even start crying when they realize it.

Moments like that remind me how a song written in a small studio in Stockholm can travel across the world and become part of people’s lives in ways you never could have imagined.
